Margaret Maclean

Bellevue-based ceramic artist Margaret MacLean draws inspiration from nature's organic forms, particularly sea life. Using raw clay, her porcelain sculptures evolve organically, resulting in unique glazed pieces that capture the meditative joy of repetitive patterns. Balancing influences from floral-botanical to coastal rock and sea life, Margaret finishes her work with stains and underglazes for a soft, natural feel. With a BFA in Visual Arts, Ceramics from Emily Carr University of Art and Design, she is featured in galleries across Seattle and Cannon Beach, Oregon.

Magdalena Cooney

Czech-born Contemporary artist Magdalena Cooney draws inspiration from her parents, both artists, and the captivating nature of the Pacific Northwest. Influenced by her father's work in theater set design and puppetry, and her mother's graphic design background, Magdalena's art leans towards evocative, non-objective forms. She enjoys experimenting with various techniques and color palettes in her series, maintaining a consistent focus on abstract representations of nature. Magdalena feels her paintings embody a sense of home, representing a cherished place in the heart where one feels most authentic. She is represented by Gray Sky Gallery and currently lives in Seattle with her husband and two children.

Sidney Woodruff

With a creative journey spanning more than thirty years, Sidney Woodruff emerges as a seasoned digital producer, graphic designer, and artistic visionary. Infused with a profound sense of power and empathy, Sidney’s artwork speaks volumes, channeling personal experiences within a complex world. Through the language of abstract forms, Sidney masterfully captures life’s intricate shades, skillfully melding masculine and feminine elements, seamlessly intertwining street sensibilities with refined artistic expressions. Sidney was born and raised in Tacoma, WA, and now lives in Seattle.

SHON FROSTAD

Shon Frostad is a mixed media artist with a lifelong history of painting and creating. Shon studied Art and Environmental Science, earning a BS degree from Evergreen State College. With a love for the Puget Sound, the ocean, and the marine world, his panels reflect the ever-changing color tones and light intensities of the Pacific Northwest. Shon lives in Tacoma, WA, with his wife and daughter and their dog and cat. He spends his free time enjoying the outdoors year-round, which fuels the inspiration for his work.

heather mclean

Heather Mclean is a Northwest-based abstract artist. She attended the University of Washington, where she received her undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Visual Arts. Heather later moved to Rome, Italy, to continue her studies in both art history and form. She now lives in Gig Harbor, WA, with her husband and two children.

cARYN vAINIO

Caryn Vainio is a mixed media painter and printmaker whose work pulls inspiration from the Pacific Northwest to abstract the landscape. Caryn lives near the foothills of the Cascade mountains, where the evergreen display of nature through each season inspires her work. Her work has been purchased for both private and public collections. Although she has no formal art school training, she has engaged in art of many forms throughout her life and has intertwined it with her long professional career as a designer.

nathan mcnair

Nathan, a Southern California native, studied Graphic Design and Painting at the Pacific Northwest College of Art. He supported his early art education by working as a picture framer and frame designer. His artwork, exhibited in various locations around the world, centers around the theme of spiritual awakening. Nathan frequently employs blooming flowers as a metaphor for the challenges inherent in personal growth, emphasizing the interconnectedness of difficulties, pain, and spiritual evolution. His belief is that struggle in life is inevitable, while suffering is optional and often arises from resisting growth.
